“That They May Go No More Out”
That is: “May they, through God’s help, stay faithful and forever intact in the fold of the Good Shepherd. May they never wander from the strait and narrow path.” Mortality is a probationary estate in which even the sanctified are warned to take heed lest they fall (see D&C 20:34). Those who in death obtain paradise, or the rest of the Lord, are no longer in a probationary estate. For the faithful, the day of probation ends at the time of death.
