“He That Knoweth Not Good from Evil is Blameless”
Accountability is something we grow into. That is, children “begin to become accountable.” We do so by learning to distinguish between opposites, so that we might clearly choose between good and evil. The precious child born without the ability to so distinguish stands blameless before the Lord. See D&C 29:46-50.
