“He Has All Power”
God has all power. There is no righteous deed or work that he cannot do. There are no laws that he did not ordain (D&C 88:37-38, 42). Joseph Smith said it thus: “Unless God had power over all things, and was able by his power to control all things, and thereby deliver his creatures who put their trust in him from the power of all beings that might seek their destruction, whether in heaven, on earth, or in hell, men could not be saved’ (Lectures on Faith 4:12).”
