The lesson to be learned in this verse is this, that when the Lamanites once saw the Light of Truth as it burst in its effulgent rays upon their lives of darkness, a flood of resplendent glory entered their souls and in that light which could not be darkened, they would sin no more. Their works, thereafter, were great, as was their faith. The Anti-Nephi-Lehites, to a man, had now enlisted under the banners of the Prince of Peace and in His cause "they buried the weapons of war, for Peace."
