“Thus Were the Lamanites and the Nephites Divided”

Now we come to the most elaborate geographical description of the land southward as it was divided between the Lamanites and Nephites. This is the most detailed description of the land southward in the entire book of Mormon. Any theoretical description of Book of Mormon geography must take these five verses into account.
