Ammon explains the source of his power—it comes from the Spirit of God that dwells in him. Thus Ammon can know the king’s thoughts and can perform with power to accomplish much good (in this case be an effective servant in protecting the king’s estate). This miraculous process is sustained according to our faith. The lesson is that if we exercise our faith, the Spirit is given to us to bless others.
