“Men of a Sound Understanding”
These had “waxed strong in the knowledge of the truth.” They were possessed of that knowledge, that understanding, that wisdom which is given from above. Though they had searched the scriptures diligently, the grasp of principles, of saving verities, had come through revelation, through divine teaching.
