Just as the Lord was victorious over Ammonihah, so Alma and Amulek are victorious in their preaching. The people begin to inquire about the Son of God and look forward to his coming and resurrection. These were important themes in the verbal conflict between Amulek and Zeezrom. Each of these themes is the direct "victory" over the attempted suppression of these truths in Ammonihah.
