We would assume that we are given but a glimpse of the whole story here. Surely Alma did more on this occasion than offer a sincere prayer; we would suppose that he laid his hands on the head of Zeezrom and (assisted by Amulek) in behalf of this faithful person exercised the powers of the priesthood he held.
