Now we come to the chapter which tells us more about the Melchizedek Priesthood than any other chapter in the Book of Mormon. This is the capstone of Alma's great sermon as he comes toward the conclusion.
Alma wants to emphasize that from the very beginning of the human race, God set up a holy order of the priesthood so that righteous men could be ordained to teach the true principles of the gospel to each generation.
