Not only will our action here upon Earth condemn us, but even our thoughts. When we shall be called to stand before God to be judged for all our works, and we remember our shortcomings as if they were yesterday, our wicked desires and our follies, all of which will be crushing, they, in contrast to falling rocks and mountains which would cover us from His view, would be more painful to our hearts.
But notwithstanding our desire to be hid from Him, we, every one, must "stand before Him in His glory, and in His power, and in His might, majesty, and dominion, and acknowledge to our everlasting shame that all His judgments are just." We then will see that our God has power that in His mercy, He not only can but will save to Life Everlasting and Light all them that have faith on His Name and bringeth forth fruit fit for one who has truly repented.
