What convinced Zeezrom that Alma and Amulek knew his thoughts?

Once Alma revealed Zeezrom’s “very subtle plan” (v. 4) and declared that he had been “taken in [his] lying and craftiness” (v. 3), “[Zeezrom] was convinced more and more of the power of God [v. 7].”

“This gift of discernment is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and it is through the proper use of this gift that the evils and designs of wicked men are made known to the prophets of God” (Ludlow, Companion to Your Study of the Book of Mormon, 202) .
