Amulek boldly declares from the beginning the source of his power—it comes from the Spirit of the Lord. He will say nothing contrary to the Spirit. What an example! When we find ourselves at a crossroads in our mortal experience—where our standards are subjected to skeptical scrutiny by those who disclaim the validity and operation of spiritual values—how do we respond? We can say, with Amulek, that we will proceed according to the operation of the Spirit of God, saying and doing nothing contrary to the Spirit.
