These verses seem to describe not a group of Nephite coins but rather a system of weights and measures by which to establish various degrees of monetary worth. It appears that at the time of the establishment of the reign of the judges by King Mosiah, a standardized system of weights and measures was put into effect throughout the land of the Nephites.
