In the ministry of Alma and Amulek among the wicked inhabitants of Ammonihah we see demonstrated the valor, courage, and indomitable will of holy men who are sustained and supported by the power of God. Like missionary companionships today, these two prophetic messengers of the Lord embody the law of multiple witnesses according to which our Heavenly Father always establishes His truth among men. The central theme of the message imparted by Alma and Amulek is the same as that issued by missionaries in all dispensations, for they preach faith unto repentance and call the people to practice righteousness.
