Similarly, Nephi testified that he had “spoken plainly and that his brothers could not misunderstand that which he had taught; thus his words would ”stand as a testimony’ against them. His teachings, he said, were ’sufficient to teach any man the right way; for the right way is to believe in Christ and deny him not; for by denying him ye also deny the prophets and the law“ (2 Nephi 25:28). A modern prophet, President Harold B. Lee, frequently challenged those who teach the gospel to do so in such a manner that their students would not only understand what they had been taught but also could not misunderstand the principles taught.”
