Almost immediately after Alma had ceased to pray, the Lord called unto him saying that, because of his exceeding faith in the words of Abinadi, he was blessed. Not only was he alone blessed, but also all those who were baptized by him in the Waters of Mormon. The Lord further stated that they believed, having no additional witness to guide them save it were Alma's own words.
