If the people of Alma "traveled all day" (Mosiah 24:20), how long was that day? How far away was the valley of Alma from the city of Helam? The "day" would have probably been a very long day, perhaps from dawn till dark with as much speed as they could handle. Thus they would have probably traveled more than a normal day's journey.
