But for the Lamanites it was another story. They sent out an army to catch the Nephites and bring them back into captivity. But they failed. In fact after two days the army didn't know where it was. They were completely confused. This leads us to believe that these high mountains of this particular region probably had a cloud cover. I've been in those mountains and I know that it is very easy to lose your way if you have a cloud cover and can't figure out where the sun is, and what's north and what's south. So this army was in a very interesting position. It's two days out of the mountains and they have no idea where they are.
