These are more likely the raw materials for their trade. The Limhites are taking with them not only their subsistence goods, but their luxury goods. More importantly, however, would be the means by which they gained those "precious things." This would be the category for the gold and silver. Those metals would form the basis of trade goods, which led to the "precious things."
