After Limhi’s people arrived in Zarahemla, Alma counseled them “that they should remember that it was the Lord that did deliver them” (Mosiah 25:16). Likewise, we are taught: “The Lord will give relief with divine power when you seek deliverance in humility and faith in Jesus Christ. … That faith is demonstrated by a willingness to trust His promises given through His prophets and in His scriptures, … trust that He will help you use your agency to open the doors. … Faith in Christ means we trust Him; we trust His teachings” (Scott, “To Be Healed,” 8).
