What parallels can we make between our own spiritual challenges or limitations and the bondage of Limhi and his people?

Thomas R. Valletta

The plight in which Limhi’s people found themselves “sounds a bit like the circumstances of ancient Israel in Egypt. As they sought to fight against their oppressors, their situation went from bad to worse” (Ogden and Skinner, Book of Mormon, 1:364).

Have you ever felt ill-treated or persecuted? Where do you turn for help in such situations? Why is the Savior the only one who can deliver you from certain circumstances?
