Abinadi refuses this option and declares that his death will testify against Noah (and his priests). In verse 9 Abinadi clearly declares that, while Noah’s men may have physically brought him to the court, he came intentionally and voluntarily. The result is to stress that he understood his mission to be his sermon before the priests which converted Alma and condemned the rest.
