Hunted by the iniquitous priests of King Noah, who were assisted by many of the king's subjects, Abinadi awaited in hiding for two years before he appeared again, in disguise, to warn of impending disaster. The Lord, once more, commanded Abinadi to prophesy to the people of Lehi-Nephi concerning that which was to come unless they repented of their sins and began to do His will. This time Abinadi uttered, in the name of the Lord, terrible prophecies against Noah and his people.
