What kind of military training, equipment, fortifications, and strategy could inspire the people of Noah to make a boast that "their fifty could stand against thousands of the Lamanites" (Mosiah 11:19)? Because of their wickedness, certainly the people of Noah did not have true faith that the Lord would help them at this time, so perhaps the site of Lehi-Nephi was extremely defensible. [Alan C.
