Mormon notes that the hill north of Shilom had been "a place of resort" for the people of Mosiah1 when they fled to the land of Zarahemla (Mosiah 11:13). One should note that in all other appearances of the word "resort" in the Book of Mormon, a strategic location providing protection is implied (see Mosiah 18:5; Alma 48:5,8; 52:6).
