Text: Although a chapter break occurs here in the 1879 edition, there is no break in the 1830 edition (which breaks between modern chapters 8 and 9). Even though the remainder of the chapter is an abridgment of the rest of Limhi’s presentation, not a quotation, the modern chapters 7–8 (following the 1879 chapter divisions) should be read together, as dealing with a single event.
