“The God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob” is clearly Jesus, known as Jehovah in the Old Testament period (see 1 Nephi 10:19). Notice how Limhi urges his people to “put [their] trust in God” to deliver them by reminding them of God’s powerful deliverance of ancient Israel.
