When he started thinking about returning to the land of Zarahemla, King Limhi made a curious remark. He said, "it is better that we be slaves to the Nephites than to pay tribute to the king of the Lamanites" (Mosiah 7:15). Did Limhi feel that if they went back to the land of Zarahemla they might be slaves of the Nephites? Why would he even bring up the idea?
