King Benjamin ended his sermon, which ranks near the greatest recorded in the Book of Mormon, with an appeal to his people to be steadfast and true. He admonished them to let their good works abound in great plenty, that Christ, the Lord Omnipotent, through your faith in Him, "may seal you his."
In the name of Him who created all things in heaven and on earth, and in His wisdom, and power, and justice, King Benjamin invoked Salvation and Eternal Life upon all his people. His earnest prayer was that they "may be brought to heaven" through Christ, "who is God above all." Then in solemn ratification of all he had said, King Benjamin closed his earthly kingship by uttering the familiar word, Amen (may it be so). (See COMMENTARY ON THE BOOK OF MORMON, Vol..
