It is interesting that after everyone has heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, none can escape the judgment of God, for those who reject the gospel will have sinned against the light. Only little children will be saved because they are not considered capable of being accountable for their mistakes until after they reach the age of eight. This doctrine is explained in the Doctrine and Covenants 20:70-71.
Now King Benjamin had delivered the message given to him by the angel and he wants his listeners to know that they will be held accountable for these words at the day of judgment.
