As discussed under 1 Nephi 14:2, the critical text will use the standard spelling blessed rather than blest (Oliver Cowdery’s initial spelling in 𝓟 for the word here in Mosiah
2:41). The word may have been pronounced as either /blest/ or /blesßd/.
