Now king Benjamin makes a special plea to his people. He knows that there is always a great danger when a new regime takes over that some restless souls may take it upon themselves to covet the throne and spread contention among the people on their behalf. Benjamin wants the people to know that God has selected the new king and any contention against him will be from the devil.
