The most accurate Mesoamerican solar era appears to have been started on the spring equinox, March 26, 433 B.C.E. (1563355) at Kaminaljuyu, Guatemala (City of Nephi). This solar era used a 365-day calendar and measured the average solar year at 365.242203 days per year.
