“There Were Exceedingly Many Prophets Among Us”
We are reminded that “many prophets” were sent to the inhabitants of the city of Jerusalem before its destruction (see 1 Nephi 1:4). The Lord does not destroy a people save they have been amply warned. All will be without excuse when the final day of judgment comes. Cf. Words of Mormon 1:16-17.
