Throughout all his days Enos faithfully taught and prophesied to a stiffnecked people. He did not enjoy the success Ammon had among the Lamanites, Paul had among the Gentiles of the Old World, or Wilford Woodruff experienced in the British Isles as our own dispensation was opened. Yet Enos’s joy was full; he had been true and faithful in all things, he had magnified his calling and knew that there was a place prepared for him in the mansions of the Father. Those called to glean the fields receive the same reward as those privileged to reap their rich harvest.
