What does Enos mean by the phrase “in him I shall rest”?

Thomas R. Valletta

“Enos had been faithful in raising the voice of warning among his people and could look forward to and rejoice at the prospect of his imminent meeting with the Savior. … Enos had the assurance of life eternal with God, just like his grandfather Lehi and father, Jacob (2 Nephi 1:15). All possessed the ‘more sure word of prophecy,’ knowing they were sealed up to the highest heaven (D&C 131:5). As already mentioned, the ‘rest’ of the Lord is ‘the fulness of his glory’ (D&C 84:24)” (Ogden and Skinner, Book of Mormon, 1:292).
