Note that in the last part of verse 4, Jacob emphasizes that not all of Israel will be saved in the last days, but only those who harden not their hearts against the Lord's servants when they come with the gospel message. All those who accept the gospel in its fulness will be saved, but the remainder will be lost. Isaiah indicates that only one tenth of the Israelites in the last days will embrace the gospel and return to the Lord.3 This shows how precious every member of the Church is to the Lord in this dispensation.
