In the economy of God there are times and seasons, a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time of patience and a time of vengeance. Though as a church and a people we never tolerate the wanton violation of the law of the Lord with impunity-to do so is to offend him who is our lawgiver (D&C 64:13)-we labor with long-suffering in behalf of those who sincerely seek to qualify for the blessings of membership in the Church of Jesus Christ.
