“The Power of the Resurrection Which is in Christ”
Because Christ arose, so shall we all. Through a means which is beyond the grasp of mortal minds to fathom, the resurrection of Jesus Christ passes upon all men and women. In speaking of our Savior’s ministry to the world of spirits, President Joseph F. Smith observed that “the dead had looked upon the long absence of their spirits from their bodies as a bondage. These [the righteous dead from Adam to time’s meridian] the Lord taught, and gave them power to come forth, after his resurrection from the dead, to enter into his Father’s kingdom, there to be crowned with immortality and eternal life.” (D&C 138:50-51; italics added.)
