“It is Sanctified Unto Us for Righteousness”
Sanctification is a process whereby-one is made pure and holy, a process which is accomplished only through the cleansing blood of Christ (Moses 6:59-60) in concert with the medium of the Holy Ghost (Alma 13:12; 3 Nephi 27:19-20). It comes through yielding one’s heart to God (see Helaman 3:35; D&C 88:67-68). Sanctification is a result of single-minded obedience, a blessing known only to those who have made their “whole souls as an offering unto him” (Omni 1:26).
