One fulfillment may have been about three hundred to four hundred years later when the Lord led a group of faithful Nephites out of the land of their inheritance. The prophet Mosiah was inspired to lead away the righteous, and “as many as would hearken unto the voice of the Lord … were led by the power of his arm, through the wilderness until they came down into … the land of Zarahemla” (see Omni 1:7, 12–13).
