Then Jacob turned in wrath on those who were filthy before God that day. He said that unless they reformed, the demands of those who were not filthy in the betrayal of their families, would scourge the wicked Nephites even to destruction. Jacob predicted that unless these Nephite men repented they would lose their entire land of inheritance to the Lamanites.
