“They Understand Not the Scriptures”
Paul explained that all Scripture given by inspiration of God, is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works“ (JST, 2 Timothy 3:16-17). Alma also explained to Helaman that the scriptures of the past had ”enlarged the memory of this people, yea, and convinced many of the error of their ways, and brought them to the knowledge of their God unto the salvation of their souls“ (Alma 37:8).”
