Scripture makes no concession to the idea of any power or force greater than God. Of our God the scriptures attest: “He comprehendeth all things, and all things are before him, and all things are round about him; and he is above all things, and in all things, and is through all things, and is round about all things ”and all things are by him, and of him, even God, forever and ever“ (D&C 88:41, italics added).
The fact that Elohim is the exalted Man of Holiness, that he ”was once as we are now“ (Teachings, p. 345), does not mean that he does not know all things, that he does not have all power, and that by the Light of Christ he is not in and through all things.
From modern revelation we know-and we know that the prophets of old knew -”that there is a God in heaven, who is infinite and eternal, from everlasting to everlasting the same unchangeable God, the framer of heaven and earth, and all things which are in them“ (D&C 20:17). See commentary on 2 Nephi 2:5; Mosiah 15:1-4.”
