John the Revelator declared that “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10), so all who have the spirit of prophecy are going to testify of Jesus and encourage all people to come unto him. Jacob confirmed, “We labored diligently among our people, that we might persuade them to come unto Christ, and partake of the goodness of God,” making it possible to enter into his rest, which is the fulness of his glory (D&C 84:24).
