“Nephi Gave… Jacob a Commandment”
Jacob, a noble and righteous man, a man filled with the spirit of prophecy and revelation, was the natural choice to steward the records begun by Nephi. Thereafter the records would most frequently pass from father to son (see verse 3). Could it be that Nephi had no surviving sons?
