There is power in the doctrine of Christ, because Christ is a Being of infinite power and majesty. His doctrine and His words can bring life eternal to those who chose to accept and follow His teachings. We come to know our Heavenly Father and our Savior through the word of God—whether we receive it in printed format, through the words of living prophets, or by personal revelation. Our hearts receive the word and our lives are changed. We truly cannot live without the spiritual nourishment that the word of God gives us. We should make goals and plans to feast upon the word every day of our lives and to follow the promptings of the Spirit in all we do.
