Nephi again extends his final words to all the house of Israel and all the people of the earth; to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people who will eventually receive his record (see Rev. 14:6–7). He speaks as Isaiah prophesied, “as the voice of one crying from the dust,” indirectly through his record, but bids them farewell until the judgment day (v. 13). To those who reject his words he bids an everlasting farewell for they will be condemned (v. 14). Nephi will be at the judgment bar and all will know that his words are true. The words of the Book of Mormon will either save them or condemn them when they come to the judgment day.
13 Therefore, having so great witnesses, by them shall the world be judged, even as many as shall hereafter come to a knowledge of this work.
14 And those who receive it in faith, and work righteousness, shall receive a crown of eternal life;
15 But those who harden their hearts in unbelief, and reject it, it shall turn to their own condemnation— [D&C 20:13–15]
