Nephi’s exhortation to his people and to the Jews is that they believe in the words of Christ, and in this verse he specifically ties that injunction to the text that he has written. The encouragement to believe in Christ comes here specifically through the words that Nephi has written. He is therefore sealing his testimony with the statement of his purpose - to bring men to Christ.
